Desktop symmetrical USB D/A converter

The Topping D10 Balanced device is a compact and extremely powerful symmetrical D/A converter with high-quality components, detailed and precise sound. It contains an ESS ES9038Q2M DAC chip and an XMOS XU208 USB interface, which can be used to handle high-quality music recordings up to PCM 384kHz/32bit and DSD256 resolution.

Unlike its older brother, the Topping D10s, the D10 Balanced has a balanced analog output with 6.3 mm Jack connectors, but with the help of the supplied adapters, you can also use a cable with an XLR connection. The device can receive digital signals via the USB-B input, but we also have two digital outputs for optical and coaxial SPDIF connections.

ESS ES9038Q2M DAC CHIP

The digital-to-analog conversion stage of the D10 Balanced is based on a high-performance 32-bit ESS ES9038Q2M DAC chip, which hardware supports the Topping HyperStream II and Time Domain Jitter Eliminator procedures, resulting in excellent dynamic range, low distortion and detailed sound.

A versatile converter

The Topping D10 Balanced easily adapts to our needs, as a D/A converter it enables an excellent connection between a computer and an active loudspeaker, or as a USB interface it can also be connected to integrated or headphone amplifiers. It also has convenience functions such as computer-synchronized automatic on/off and a clearly visible display of the resolution of the program being played.
