Artificial intelligence is the present: we are on the brink of an era dominated by WE. It already means more than a current trend, and in the near future it can easily be an essential tool of political, economic and financial power engineering. MI becomes an integral part of our everyday and private lives, while it imperceptibly rewrites the concept of work, takes possession of our homes and significantly influences our human relationships as well as the means of acquiring knowledge. Aware of all this, we cannot waste any more time, we must put the pillars of our thinking, civilization and culture on new foundations - thus preparing ourselves for a paradigm shift of an unprecedented scope.
Decisive and responsible action is required to address the potential and threat inherent in AI. The hype and disinformation surrounding artificial intelligence make it very difficult to find information, which further deepens social inequalities and polarizes public opinion. However, the direction of AI development and the future still depends on us, the people: in addition to the actors of science and the tech world, as well as political decision-makers, everything depends on the responsible decisions of the individual. In their book, György Tilesch and Omar Hatamleh aim at an innovative interpretation of AI and the thematization of the most pressing problems of the present and the near future, for which they also provide suggestions for solutions.

Dr. OMAR HATAMLEH is the former head of NASA's department responsible for engineering innovation and the International Space University's space research program. Before that, he was a leading researcher at the Ames Research Center for several years. For 23 years, it has been unavoidable in the most diverse fields of information within the ranks of American space research. His research activities, as well as his innovative work at NASA, have been recognized with several awards.

Dr. GYÖRGY TILESCH is the founding president of the PHI Institute for Augmented Intelligence. His area of ​​expertise is the strategic, ethical, social, labor market, policy-making and governmental challenges posed by artificial intelligence. As a company manager, global innovation and AI expert, he lives in Silicon Valley. He has worked in many sectors with world leaders on all continents of the world (Microsoft, EU, White House, World Economic Forum, Ipsos, Club de Madrid, national governments). He works as a consultant and mediator in the framework of the transatlantic MI alliance partnership.
