The Thermex Flat Smart IF electric water heater can be operated in 3 operating modes:

Conventional heating mode - In this mode, the heating power is switched on only based on the set and measured temperature values, with three selectable heating temperatures of 55°C/65°C/75°C.
- Smart, self-learning operating mode (Smart) - In this operating mode, the water heating is regulated by an algorithm specifically developed for this purpose. You should choose this especially if the daily amount of water used typically exceeds the capacity of the electric boiler and the use of hot water can be tied to regular time slots. The operation focuses on reducing costs and heat loss from unnecessary heating and providing hot water at typical times of use. While it keeps the temperature of the water in the tank at a lower temperature beyond the typical usage time periods.
- Frost protection mode - If the electric boiler is connected to the electrical network but switched off, and the water temperature in the tank drops below 5°C, it automatically starts the heating, then switches off after reaching 10°C.
