Product description

Due to its design, the 90 ° Wireview Pro is not compatible with all graphics card models and series. The reason for this is the size of the various refrigerator designs and the position of the 12VHPWR connector on the printed circuit sheet of the graphics card. These factors can make it impossible to use the 90 ° WireView Pro. This should also be taken into account when switching to the water -cooled block.

The Thermal Grizzly WireView Pro GPU - New Edition with increased security
WireView Pro GPU is a tool for measuring energy consumption of graphics cards. Developed in cooperation with Jon "Elmor" Sandström, WireView Pro GPU is connected to the graphics card 12VHPWR power connector and connected to the power supply through the power cord. Energy consumption data is displayed on an OLED display.

What does WireView Pro GPU do?
WireView Pro GPU allows you to measure energy consumption of graphics cards and records this data to determine energy consumption. These data can be used, for example, to determine the energy costs of a graphical card or to compare energy consumption with other graphics cards.

At the same time, power consumption measurements can also be used to determine the power consumption of graphics cards over a period or for certain applications. In addition, the load peaks of energy consumption, which can occur during the operation of current high -end graphics cards, can be recognized.

Overview of information about WireView Pro GPU:
- Current energy consumption in watt (W)
- Current voltage in Volt (V), current current in amper (a)
- Minimum and maximum power consumption in watt (W)
-Average energy consumption in 60 seconds (in RAVG W) and total energy consumption (in E wh)
- Display of temperature measured by each temperature sensors (° C)

What is the novelty in WireView Pro GPU?
The PRO version has added additional features in the form of plug detection, temperature sensors and acoustic warning. The WireView Pro GPU plug sensor recognizes whether it is in use of 150 watts, 300 watts, 450 watts or 600 watts.

For the power connectors, two temperature sensors on the circuit board monitor the temperature of the power connectors. Up to 600 watts of currents can flow through the connectors, which can cause them and the circuit sheet surrounding the two connectors significantly. The adjustable temperature limit is exceeded.

Two additional closed temperature sensors (10K NTC) can be connected via cable. Two sensors, each with a cable of 5 cm and 20 cm, belongs to the contents of the package. In addition, the alarm may act when exceeding the adjustable limit of the current (amper).

What WireView Pro GPU is required?
Regardless of the type and number of PCIe power connectors on the graphics card, their orientation is crucial for choosing the right WireView GPU. The WireView GPU is available in "Normal" (N), "Reverse" (R) and in this 90 ° version.

If the graphics card is equipped with PCIE power connectors where the connector fixes are oriented further from the PCB, the N version is required. If the graphics card was installed normal horizontal, this would be below. This version is the most common type of connector orientation.

If the graphics card is equipped with PCIE power connectors, where the connector fixes are adapted to the printed circuit sheet, the R version is required. If the graphics card was installed normal horizontal, this would be on the top. This is easily recognized by the fact that the printed circuit sheet has recesses for the connecting locking boards.

Attention, Important Note: Danger of injury!
Depending on the graphics card used, especially for the GeForce RTX 5090, it can flow up to 575 watts through the WireView connectors. The resulting waste heat can heat the circuit sheet at the WireView connector up to 60 degrees Celsius with an air-cooled graphics card. For a water-cooled graphics card without airflow, the WireView printed circuit sheet can heat up to 100 degrees Celsius! The engine room should not be touched during operation. After turning off the system, the WireView should be cooled before handling it.
