tesaflex® 4163 is a versatile soft polyvinyl chloride tape ideal for electrical insulation and a variety of masking and repair applications. The tape, available in several colors, can also be used for color coding. The soft PVC backing is combined with an acrylic adhesive, so the tape is extremely resistant to UV light for up to several years. It also has high electrical insulation, resistance to acids and solvents, and weather stability. The high elasticity of the tape allows it to remain soft and rubbery even at very low temperatures of -40 °C. Due to its high resistance to environmental factors, it is ideal for permanent and outdoor applications.
