Tasty Me Royal Icing Mix is a smooth, stable sugar icing base that dries rock-hard, making it suitable for decorating biscuits, cakes and sweet bakes. It works well for coloured patterns, fine lines and playful figures.
The product is manufactured in a gluten-free facility and contains less than 20 mg/kg (20 ppm) of gluten, so it is suitable for people with coeliac disease or gluten sensitivity. It is also lactose-free and free from hydrogenated fats.
Preparation is simple: mix 100 g of the powder with 12 to 14 ml of water, beating vigorously for about 5 to 7 minutes. The icing can then be piped straight from a piping bag. It can be coloured to taste and is ideal for cakes, biscuits, muffins and chocolate.
