TAMRON's new 90mm F2.8 MACRO lens for mirrorless fullframe cameras impresses with its high resolution and beautiful bokeh. It provides unparalleled sharpness and a velvety bokeh effect from the center to the edges. The lens contains 15 elements in 12 groups, including four LD lens elements that correct spherical and chromatic aberrations. BBAR-G2 coating minimizes ghosting and stray light and provides clear details even in backlight. In addition, thanks to exceptional flat-field correction, the lens provides edge-to-edge sharpness and minimal distortion, making it ideal for flat subjects such as documents. This lens shows its strengths in macro, landscape and portrait photography and allows for unique photography in all genres.

Breathtaking bokeh
The 90mm macro lens is the first TAMRON lens to feature 12 diaphragms that create perfect circular bokeh with minimal vignetting, especially in the macro range. In addition, the 12-blade design produces stunning starlight effects when the aperture is closed, making it ideal for creating dramatic images.

Light and compact
It is a compact macro lens in the medium telephoto range with a maximum aperture of F2.8 and a length of 126.5 mm. The lens with a maximum diameter of 79.2 mm is comfortable to hold. With its weight of 630 grams, it is also very light, so it can be worn comfortably for a long time.

Newly designed sun visor
This lens has a new hood with a sliding window that allows you to use filters without removing the hood. This ensures precise control and smooth operation with a steady recording rhythm.

Compatible with TAMRON Lens Utility™
The 90mm F2.8 MACRO is compatible with the special TAMRON Lens Utility™ software. It allows users to change lens settings, assign camera functions and update firmware if needed. In addition, the mobile version is especially useful for macro photography, where a tripod is often used. The user can customize functions to suit different shooting and video shooting styles, allowing for a more personalized and complete shooting experience.

Moisture Resistant Construction – The lens is splash resistant. All critical areas have special seals. Lenses with this feature are ideal for outdoor use in bad weather.

VXD
Voice-Coil Extreme-Torque Drive - VXD autofocus guarantees fast and precise focusing on both near and far objects. The quiet focus motor responds lightning fast and is particularly suitable for shooting moving subjects.

LD
Low Dispersion - LD elements have a particularly low color dispersion index. They reduce chromatic aberrations, which appear as color fringing on contrasts and reduce image sharpness.

TAMRON Lens Utility
The new TAMRON Lens Utility software was developed to configure our own TAMRON lenses. After installing the program on a computer, compatible lenses can be connected to the computer with a connection cable to customize various lens functions or update the lens firmware.

BBAR G2
Broad Band Anti-Reflection - BBAR multi-layer coating provides brilliant images with natural colors. It reduces the reflection of light rays hitting the surface of the lens. The more advanced BBAR G2 coating has been in use since 2019.

FLR
Fluorine coating - Fluorine coating protects the front lens from dirt. Prevents oil and water droplets from sticking to the surface. Fingerprints and dirt are easier to remove.
