Takács Viktória - Christmas mese

The Somás are very busy, they are preparing for the holiday of love. The little boy can't wait for Christmas, but he is excited not only by putting up the Christmas tree and giving gifts, but also by spending the first day of Christmas together with his cousins. During the holiday, many interesting things happen: the story of the birth of Jesus is played out in the church, the children go "begging", i.e. they sing Christmas carols to the neighbors, all kinds of delicacies smell in the kitchen, and the Advent calendar also has surprises! And Soma has no idea that the joys are far from over here: the biggest surprise for him will be the wonderful announcement of father and mother!
In Viktória Takács's book, the old Hungarian traditions of the Advent and Christmas holidays are brought to life, just like the customs of today. In addition, in the volume we can meet the former heroes of our Traditions series again.
Acquainting children with domestic customs, famous days, and special traditions is a very important task - Viktória Takács' beautifully illustrated story was born in the spirit of this commitment. In the series Our Traditions, he has so far covered such holidays as Nativity, the Mohács bus tour, Easter, Pentecost, Lucázáz, harvest...
