Szeleczky Zita életútja and válogatott magánlevelezése
Product description
In our volume, we publish Zita Szeleczky's unprocessed, selected private correspondence from 1946 to 1959 (the source material is available in the Péter Bod Library of the Károli Gáspár Református University, the National Theater History Museum and Institute, and the National Széchényi Library). In the first four chapters, we reconstructed the most important stages of the family history and biography with the help of the literature published on the subject so far and the case material found in the Historical Archives of the State Security Services. The theater and film roles and performance evenings of the Hungarian and emigration periods are presented in tabular form. At the end of the volume, two interviews can be read, with Lajosné Péli, the creator of the artist's largest private collection in Hungary, and Zoltán Jávor, the godson of Zita Szeleczky, who donated the private correspondence to the university.
