Product description
Let's imagine our mind like an inner cinema in which the most diverse films are shown. Among them are comedies and romantic films, but sometimes we can also come across heartbreaking dramas, scary thrillers or even disaster films. If we were to sit in this inner cinema, what would we see most often? Would there be annoyingly repetitive scenes in the film? We don't always see the programs running in our minds clearly, but sometimes we can notice that we often find ourselves in situations that we don't understand, in which we don't recognize ourselves, or that certain difficult situations happen to us again and again.
If we know ourselves based on these, we can relax, we are not alone with these. We all have our own inner stories, which often guide us unnoticed. We can now get acquainted with these internal scripts, also known as schemas. We did not decide on their creation, we did not want them, just as we do not regulate their appearance. What we can do is to learn to recognize them, to become aware of them, and with the help of the practices of acceptance and commitment therapy, we can learn to live with them.
At the beginning of our book, we can learn about psychological inflexibility, and at the end we will also get to the recipe for psychological flexibility. For this, we promise nothing more than an experience-rich inner journey, where you can find out how eating chocolate, a little magic, the story of Good Will Hunting or even time travel can help us to get to know and accept ourselves more deeply - to create a fuller, more conscious life, with our schemes together.
