The SUNSUN HXS-02 is an electric aquarium gravel cleaner designed for routine tank maintenance. With a rated power of 16 W, it delivers up to 800 l/h at a lift height of 1.6 m, making daily aquarium upkeep easier. The adjustable working length of 650 to 1050 mm allows the siphon to be used with tanks of different heights. Flow rate and operation are controlled with a single button.

During use, the HXS-02 draws water together with the debris settled on the substrate. It helps remove fish waste, uneaten food and sediment trapped between gravel or sand particles. The filter housing catches larger particles, and the substrate can be cleaned without draining the whole aquarium. Regular cleaning reduces the build-up of organic matter on the bottom and helps keep the tank looking its best.

Besides siphoning, the unit can also be used to drain water during regular water changes. The outlet hose and flow regulator allow water to be removed from the tank with ease. However, the gravel cleaner is intended for periodic maintenance and does not replace a standard continuously running aquarium filter.
