The a7C was born to be compact, light and portable without sacrificing the performance of an original Full Frame camera. This goal was achieved with the development of the structure of the layout, as well as the development of new mechanical components such as the space-saving shutter and optical stabilization unit.

The larger pixel size provides a higher signal-to-noise ratio, so the images will look great and you can see more detail in the shadows. Noise reduction is especially effective at medium and high ISO settings, which are needed for fast-moving or dimly lit subjects. The standard ISO range of 100-51200 can be expanded to 50-204800.
