Sonoff TX Ultimate, also known as Sonoff T5 EU, is Sonoff's latest new product released in the summer of 2023: a smart light switch supporting Wi-Fi and eWeLink-Remote (Bluetooth) protocol. Like other Sonoff products, it is connected to the eWeLink smart home system and can be controlled from the eWeLink smartphone app. The smart light switch must be paired with the local Wi-Fi router, and it can be remotely controlled, timed, and configured via the Internet from a mobile phone.

The main novelty of the latest version of the smart touch light switch is that the entire surface of the switch is sensitive to touch, making it very convenient to use. The light switch turns on/off immediately by touching it anywhere. The factory elegant white touchscreen front panel can be replaced, the manufacturer also offers several other front panels.

The switch is also available in one, two and three circuit / touch button versions.

There is a thin LED strip on the side of the Sonoff TX Ultimate T5 EU switch, which can be set to a number function. Several factory settings are available for setting colored mood lighting, e.g. we can even activate party light mode. But we can also use the light to set a discreet night light, for which it also has timing functions. (With the usual eWeLink app timings, we can not only time the circuits of the light switch, but also the mood light on the switch.)

When the switch is turned on and off (separately adjustable), it can give sound and light signals, as well as vibrate, which can be set as desired in the eWeLink app, or even turned off if they are not needed. In the settings of the eWeLink app, you can also specify a nighttime "Do not disturb" period, when switching on and off is always silent.

The state of each circuit (off or on) is also indicated by the LED light on the LED strip used for the mood light, the color and brightness of which can be adjusted separately for the off and on states.

Similar to other Sonoff smart light switches, thanks to its built-in WiFi chip, you can use the eWeLink app running on an iOS (Apple) or Android mobile phone with an Internet connection to remotely control the on/off of the light switch, view the current OFF/ON status, and set a timed off/on also switched on. With the help of the touch switch, you can of course also switch on the lamp on the wall, just as you would with a traditional touch switch.

The possibility of remote access can also be shared with family members. The perfect solution for smart control of any lamp and lighting. With its use, you can comfortably turn on or off the desired lights from a distance, even when you are not at home. Used as a break-in prevention solution, it can be programmed to turn on or off so that the outside world thinks you are at home.

Like other new Sonoff products, it is equipped with a Bluetooth receiver and Bluetooth gateway function, so it can be remotely controlled from Sonoff Bluetooth wireless devices (e.g. Sonoff S-MATE module, Sonoff R5 switches).

The Sonoff Ultimate TX T5 switches can also be switched to pulse switching (i.e. rocker switch) mode, and they can also be set to switch off after a predetermined time after switching on, i.e. they are also suitable for "staircase timed switching".

The two- and three-button chandelier switch versions of the Sonoff TX switches can be set in the app to a so-called interlock (also known as interlocking or toggle switching) mode, in which when one circuit is switched on, the other circuits are switched off, so e.g. these switches can also be safely used to control shutters or other motors.
