TH20 Elite (R3) WiFi smart relay, with thermometer input, for 230V (20A) and voltage-free switching, with LED display (THR320D)

The Sonoff THR320D is the new R3 product version of the Sonoff TH smart relay family released in the summer of 2022, which, like its predecessor, the Sonoff TH10/TH16, is a Wi-Fi, timed smart relay that can be controlled remotely from a mobile phone via the Internet. The 20A version of the new type is not only capable of switching 230V (max. 20A), but is also suitable for voltage-free switching.

A wired thermometer, humidity sensor and soil moisture sensor can also be connected to it, it can also be switched automatically based on the measured temperature / humidity / soil moisture data. Instead of the jack plug of the previous R2 version, the R3 version is now equipped with an RJ9 socket.

The LED display of the Elite version also shows the measured data on the screen, updated every 5 seconds. The new feature of the R3 version is that it also records the measured data in the cloud, and in the app, the retrospective trend of 6 months of historical data can also be viewed on a graph.

Compatible with the following sensors:

- Sonoff SI7021 temperature and humidity sensor;
- Sonoff AM2301 temperature and humidity sensor;
- Sonoff DS18B20 waterproof stick thermometer;
- Sonoff MS01 soil moisture sensor.

The WiFi relay can be turned off/on MANUALLY from the eWeLink app, and can also be switched to AUTOMATIC mode, in which off and on temperature/humidity/soil moisture values ​​can be entered for several times of the day/period. For temperature-based automatic ON/OFF switching, you can enter data with a precision of decimal degrees Celsius.

Using the eWeLinkApp running on an iOS (Apple) or Android mobile phone with an Internet connection, you can remotely control the switch and set a timed on/off. Of course, the device also has a physical push button switch. The possibility of remote access can also be shared with family members. A perfect solution for the smart control of household electrical devices, which do not need to work constantly, but must be switched on/off intermittently (e.g. aquarium circulator or aerator). With its use, you can comfortably turn on the desired devices from afar before you get home, and you can also conveniently schedule the switch-off to save energy and costs.

The relay is also an ideal choice for controlling fans, electric heaters, electric infrared heaters, radiators, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, air conditioners, irrigation systems, greenhouses and aquariums. When used together with a sensor, thanks to its WiFi remote control, the current temperature and humidity values ​​of other locations and buildings can also be observed from afar, and it can also operate automatic heating and humidifier/sterilizer according to the limit values ​​specified in the mobile phone app.

Unlike the previous TH10/TH16 R2 version, which only had 230V switching, the new R3 version also switches the 230V received for its operation on the 230V output located at the bottom of the relay, and also switches the voltage-free NO/NC outputs located at the top of the relay:

- In the switched-off state, the 230V phase output does not switch voltage by definition, and the COM-NC inputs are connected on the voltage-free output.
- When switched on, it switches on 230V (max. 20A) voltage on the 230V phase output, and closes the COM-NO inputs on the voltage-free output.

Wire cross-sections:

- 230V connection point: 1.5~6mm² (15~10AWG)
- Dry contact on NO/NC input: 0.13~0.5mm² (26~20AWG)
