Sonoff Basic R4 is a smart switch relay, an entry-level member of Sonoff's Internet-controlled and timed switch family. Compatible with eWeLink Remote Hub type remote controls (Sonoff S-MATE, S-MATE2, R5).
This is a switching relay module equipped with a WiFi+Bluetooth module, which, when connected to a 230V AC supply, can be used to close and interrupt the circuit, i.e. to turn on/off the electrical device connected to the wire. With the help of an App running on an iOS (Apple) or Android mobile phone with an Internet connection, we can remotely control the switch and set a timed on/off.
Of course, there is also a physical push button switch on the relay. The possibility of remote access via the mobile app can also be shared with family members. A perfect solution for the smart control of household electrical devices, which do not need to work constantly, but must be switched on/off intermittently (e.g. aquarium circulator or aerator). With its use, you can comfortably turn on the desired devices from afar before you get home, and you can also conveniently schedule the switch-off to save energy and costs.
The Sonoff Basic R4 does not have an external thermometer/humidity sensor input, a wired sensor cannot be connected to it.
Product features:
- Hungarian-language mobile app Free iOS and Android mobile app: eWeLink, also in Hungarian
- Status query The mobile App shows the current status of the relay (on or off)
- Local remote control thanks to the built-in eWeLink-Remote (Bluetooth) receiver and hub function can also be controlled with Sonoff S-MATE, S-MATE2 modules and R5 wireless switch installed behind a traditional switch
- Remote ON/OFF switching wherever you are, you can turn the relay (and the devices between it) on or off remotely from the mobile phone app via the Internet
- Timing Several timing functions are available: setting a specific time, setting repeated times, countdown / timer, cycle.
- Timed switch-off, the socket can also be set to switch off automatically after a certain time after each switch-on
- Pulse switching: the relay can also be set for pulse switching, i.e. short switching of a specified length (e.g. typically 0.5 or 1 second)
- Can be shared with others You can give access, e.g. family members or others for remote control
- Groups, rooms You can organize Sonoff and SmartWise smart devices into groups and rooms in the eWeLink app
- Smart control (Scene) Using the Smart Control / Scene eWeLink app function, you can also create conditional controls between different Sonoff / SmartWise devices. For example, you can turn on a Sonoff S26 outlet based on the data of a temperature or humidity sensor connected to a TH10 relay, or you can turn on a Sonoff or SmartWise smart light switch based on the signal of an RF motion sensor paired with a Sonoff RF Bridge gateway, but you can also coordinate the on and off of two WiFi devices (e.g. . a Sonoff light switch can turn on a Sonoff WiFi smart socket via WiFi).
- Compatibility Can be connected to Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Google Nest for voice control
- The eWeLink app is now available in Hungarian!
