Its use can reduce the risk of certain skin diseases caused by a lack of linoleic acid (e.g. eczematous skin processes, psoriasis), and it can also play a role in slowing down the aging process of the skin. 100 grams of wheat germ oil can contain about 150 milligrams of alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E).
