The SmartWise RF Bridge Pro for Shutters (R2) is an RF - WiFi gateway specially offered for RF shutter remote controls, which connects originally only RF shutters to the eWeLink cloud (which manages Sonoff and SmartWise devices). SmartWise RF Bridge Pro for Shutters (R2) is an eWeLink gateway with similar functionality as the Sonoff RF Bridge or SmartWise RF Bridge, i.e. a bridge between radio frequency (RF) devices and WiFi smart control based on the eWeLink platform, but specifically 433MHz radio shutter for remote controls.

The remote control is compatible with Dooya-encoded RF remote controlled motorized blinds, for example most Smart Home and Rojaflex branded RF blinds. It is not compatible with Somfy RTS and other shutter remote controls and jump code remote controls that use coded communication.

With its help, the blinds can be made compatible with the eWeLink app and can be remotely controlled from the eWeLink app via the Internet, and timers and activations can also be set on the eWeLink platform.

The gateway max. It can be paired with 4 RF remote controls with 3 buttons (DOWN + STOP + UP), and they can receive encrypted communication from Somfy / Dooya / Smart Home remote controls.

Commissioning the gateway:

- First, the SmartWise RF Bridge Pro for Shutters gateway must be paired with an Android or iOS smartphone using the eWeLink app, and the device must be connected to the home or office WiFi network.
- After that, the Somfy / Dooya / Smart Home RF remote control(s) must be paired with the SmartWise RF Bridge Pro for Shutters RF gateway, the Bridge identifies and saves the code signal of the remote controls.
- After that, the RF Bridge Pro will be able to simulate the button presses of the RF remote controls and send the same switching signal to the blinds as the remote controls, this can be controlled remotely from the eWeLink app via the Internet or even via the mobile network, and thus the RF blinds can be remotely controlled with it from the eWeLink app remotely, not just from the home Wi-Fi network.
