The SmartWise B6 UNI Zigbee, physical push-button smart switch family is a 2024 development of the manufacturer, which also has a chip supporting Zigbee + RF 433MHz connections. The smart light switch is connected to a Zigbee gateway or hub, which can be a Sonoff or SmartWise Zigbee gateway connected to the eWeLink cloud platform, or another local Zigbee hub that is compatible with standard Zigbee 3.0 devices. Wireless Sonoff or SmartWise RF switches and remote controls can be paired with the RF433 receiver to create a wireless alternative connection.

The SmartWise B6 smart light switch is also available in 1, 2, and 3 circuit (button) versions. It is also available with a white, gray, black and gold push-button front panel.

Wiring

The UNI version of SmartWise's smart light switch supports universal connection: it is recommended to connect with a phase + neutral wire, but it is also suitable for connection without a neutral wire, only with a phase wire, so it can be connected in place of all traditional switches. In the case of zero-wire connection, it is only recommended for switching on lamps, it is also compatible with: Tungsten torch, LED and compact fluorescent lamp (CFL). Only in the case of connection with a phase wire, it is necessary to connect a small flash adapter module (included with the product) to the lamp.

Smart home platform

SmartWise's standard Zigbee 3.0 light switch is compatible with most Zigbee gateways and hubs, making it compatible with many platforms. If it is used with a Sonoff or SmartWise Zigbee gateway connected to the eWeLink cloud platform, the light switch can be managed in the eWeLink app, and thus it can be well combined with other brands of the eWeLink app, such as Sonoff, SmartWise, KingArt, WDYK and Woolley.

Local switching

It has a front panel with a physical push button, with the help of which you can of course turn on the lighting on the wall switch, just as you would with a traditional switch.

Local remote control

Thanks to its built-in RF 433MHz receiver, it can be remotely controlled with SmartWise and Sonoff wireless RF wall switches and RF433 radio remote controls. They can be used to create a wireless wall-based alternative connection to the smart switch. In the case of a multi-button switch: individual buttons of the switch can be paired separately with wireless switches and remote controls, individual circuits / buttons can be paired with other wireless switches in any way you like.

Functions:

We pair the smart switch to a Zigbee gateway or hub, and through the gateway or hub with an internet connection, we can check the ON/OFF status of the switch at any time (e.g. in a phone APP or on a web interface), and turn the light switch on/off remotely , we can also set timed switching on/off. The possibility of remote control - depending on the functions of the Zigbee Bridge in general) can also be shared with others, such as family members or colleagues in an office.

The perfect solution for smart control of any lamp or lighting.

When used as a break-in prevention solution, it can be programmed with presence simulation, i.e. timed off or on, so that the outside world thinks you are at home.
