Like all other SKIL "20V Max" cordless hand tools, this model is powered by the industry-leading advanced "PWRCORE 20™" battery and charging technology. Our carbon brushless motor is faster, more powerful and lasts 10 times longer than a traditional carbon brush motor.
Our special LED module illuminates the saw blade, creating a clearly visible shadow line underneath. This function ensures extremely precise cutting, as it indicates exactly where the saw blade will cut into the workpiece, including the thickness of the saw blade. Good visibility of the cutting line is also ensured by an LED light, together with the built-in dust blower. For durability, this circular saw has dust-proof ball bearings. The dust-protected ball bearings protect the saw from dust in order to increase its service life. The SKIL 3551 CA tool is supplied with an 18-tooth carbide tipped saw blade and a parallel guide.
