Like all other Shelly products, it is directly connected to the WiFi router, no local center, hub or bridge is needed for its smart control. Even if only 1 device can be installed independently to automate or measure the consumption of an electrical consumer, lighting or motorized shutter, it is also a good choice as a complete system for converting an entire property that is newly built or about to be renovated into a smart home.

The Shelly PRO 2PM relay contains one switch input for both circuits, i.e. in the case of star-point wiring, it can also receive the switched fiber from the light switches, so the wall light switch can also be used to switch on the lamp (or other consumer) and can be switched remotely via WiFi the controlled lamp or other device, and we also have many timings at our disposal.

In the Shelly app, it is also possible to disable the switch - which can be useful in some rooms with small children - with such settings, the given relay can only be controlled from the app.

The relay is compatible not only with two-position switches, but also with rocker (or bell) switches. It is also suitable for connecting alternative and crossover switching.

With its auto-off function, it can also be set to pulse switching mode.

Important: the phase provided for Shelly PRO 2PM operation and the connected phase(s) coming from the switch(s) must come from the same phase(s), Shelly PRO 2PM is not suitable for multiphase operation!

The Shelly PRO 2PM has a built-in shutter control calibration function in shutter control mode. Then, by mapping the end positions of the shutter and the power consumption of the motor, the relay "learns" the shutter, and later it can be programmed to open/close as specified in %, and in case of detection of excessive current consumption - the pinch/jam detection function can also be activated to stop it in such cases the shutter motor.

Shelly PRO 2PM is suitable for controlling all motorized shutters where the relay can be connected between the 230V power supply of the shutter and the wall switch (if present) or the electrical network (between), and the opening and closing of the shutter motor is a separate circuit ( and two-button or two-position switch) is handled.
