The Shelly Plus PM MINI is a new device in the Shelly range: a mini energy meter that can be installed in a wall socket, does not contain a relay and thus cannot switch on lighting or other consumers. But thanks to its small size, it fits comfortably even in the smallest wall sockets behind the fittings, and is also suitable for measuring the consumption of 16A consumers. An ideal choice in cases where you only need to measure current consumption, but not for switching.

Like all other Shelly products, it is directly connected to the WiFi router, no local center, hub or bridge is needed for its smart control. Even if only 1 device can be installed independently to measure the consumption of an electrical consumer, outlet or lighting, Shelly is also a good choice as a complete system for converting an entire property that is newly built or about to be renovated into a smart home.

This is one of the smallest Wi-Fi devices for smart consumption measurement. Its small size allows it to be installed either behind a standard light switch or socket in a wall socket or in an electrical connection box, or even after the fact, and with its help we can monitor the current and historical consumption of consumers, and based on the current consumption values, we can even control Shelly devices and relays too.

With the help of Shelly PLUS PM MINI placed in the wall socket behind existing switches or connectors, we can add a smart consumption measurement function to the electrical system by keeping the existing fittings, due to the nature of the product it is also ideal for subsequent "smartening".

The Shelly PLUS PM MINI consumption meter is suitable for consumption measurement of consumers operating with 110V-240V AC supply voltage, not for direct current measurement.

GATEWAY FUNCTIONS:

Thanks to the ESP32 chip, the device also supports Wi-Fi+ Bluetooth protocols. It also includes a Bluetooth gateway, it can also function as a Bluetooth receiver/gateway for Shelly's new generation Bluetooth sensors and Bluetooth remote control. It also includes a Wi-Fi repeater (Wi-Fi signal repeater) function, which, when turned on, transmits a Wi-Fi signal to Shelly devices installed further away - as a kind of Wi-Fi mesh.

BLUETOOTH PAIRING:

It is paired with a phone, like other second-generation Shelly Plus and Pro devices, using the Bluetooth protocol, simply and quickly.

STRONGER PROCESSOR, MORE FUNCTIONS:

Shelly Plus PM Mini also has the usual ESP32 processor in PLUS products, which contains a faster and more powerful CPU and twice as much memory, so the PLUS product line offers improved functions and faster operation.

SHELLY PLUS FUNCTIONS:

The product:

- Supports HTTP/HTTPS webhooks so enhanced Shelly Plus products can easily connect, notify or control compatible products or other automation systems
- Supports mjS scripts, allowing customers to create their own features and functions! Shelly Plus line devices allow multiple scripts to be executed simultaneously depending on different triggers such as input/output status, sensor data or WLAN requests.

Supported operating modes:

- Cloud / cloud mode: in this case, it is connected to the free Shelly Cloud, through which (available for both iOS and Android) the Shelly Cloud smartphone app and the website https://home.shelly.cloud/ we can control and configure devices; obsession
- You can choose LAN / local network mode, in which case devices can only be controlled from devices connected to the local network; but whatever
- You can operate the device (instead of WiFi client mode) in WiFi Access Point mode (e.g. if there is no permanent WiFi network at the installation location), then you can connect directly to the WiFi AC network broadcast by the device with a mobile phone or notebook near the device, and the connection during which we can control the device.

The consumption data is saved in the Shelly Cloud account when the smart device is in cloud mode, and the consumption history can be viewed and downloaded in the app.

In case of Cloud mode, Shelly devices can also control each other (according to complex conditions) and turn them on/off using the Shelly Cloud Scene (Smart Control) function. (For example, a Shelly relay installed behind a light switch can turn off/on another independent Shelly relay behind a power outlet through the cloud via the cloud, and turn it on/off, i.e. the devices wirelessly via WIFi and the factory cloud they can simply control each other according to the rules we set.)

It is also possible for the devices - if fixed IP addresses are used - (even without using Shelly Cloud, even in LAN mode) to control each other directly with HTTP commands (DDD, i.e. Direct Device-to-Device), i.e. Shelly devices they are able to switch each other on/off on the local network even if the external internet connection is interrupted (or disabled on the desktop)
