Shelly Plus 1PM Mini Gen3 is the successor of Shelly's single-circuit mini power consumption meter smart relay, Shelly Plus 1PM Mini. Like the Shelly Plus 1PM Mini, the Shelly PLUS 1PM MINI Gen3 is also equipped with a consumption meter and, like its predecessor, max. it can be loaded with a lower current (8A), so it is primarily suitable for switching on and measuring consumption of lighting and other, lower-power consumers.

Like all other Shelly products, it is directly connected to the WiFi router, no local center, hub or bridge is needed for its smart control. Even if only 1 device can be installed independently to automate or measure the consumption of an electrical consumer or lighting, it is also a good choice as a complete system for converting an entire property that is newly built or about to be renovated into a smart home.

This is one of the smallest Wi-Fi devices for smart connection control and smart consumption measurement. Its small size allows you to conveniently install it behind a standard light switch in the wall socket or in an electrical junction box, or even retrofit it, and remotely control your lighting or other consumers of less than 8A, and monitor their on/off status.

With the Shelly PLUS 1PM MINI Gen3 placed behind existing switches in the wall socket, we can remotely control our lighting or other consumers while keeping our existing switches, monitor their on/off status and power consumption, so the product is also ideal for retrofitting. Furthermore, it is an excellent choice when installed behind a push-button light switch to control them, but its maximum power of 8A does not make it suitable for controlling sockets!

The Shelly Plus 1PM Mini Gen3 relay - like other small Shelly smart relays - contains a switch input, i.e. when installed behind light switches, you can still use the wall light switch to switch on the lamp (or other consumer), and you can also switch on the controlled lamp or other device remotely via WiFi, and we also have a number of timings available. In the Shelly app, it is also possible to disable the switch - which can be useful in some rooms with small children - with such settings, the given relay can only be controlled from the app.

The relay is compatible not only with two-position switches, but also with rocker (or bell) switches. It is also suitable for connecting alternative and crossover switching.

With its auto-off function, it can also be set to pulse switching mode.

The Shelly PLUS 1PM MINI Gen3 relay switches the supply voltage received for operation (110V-240V AC) at its output (max. 8A power), so this type is not suitable for voltage-free (so-called dry contact) switching!

Important: for the Shelly PLUS 1PM Mini to operate, the phase provided and the switched phase(s) coming from the switch(s) must come from the same phase(s), the Shelly Plus 1PM MINI is not suitable for multiphase operation!

GATEWAY FUNCTIONS:

Its predecessor was equipped with an ESP32 chip, but the Shelly Plus 1PM Mini GEN3 was already equipped with the ESP-Shelly-C38F chip. Like its predecessor, the device also supports Wi-Fi + Bluetooth protocols. It also includes a Bluetooth gateway, it can also function as a Bluetooth receiver/gateway for Shelly's new generation Bluetooth sensors and Bluetooth remote control. It also includes a Wi-Fi repeater (Wi-Fi signal repeater) function, which, when turned on, transmits a Wi-Fi signal to Shelly devices installed further away - as a kind of Wi-Fi mesh.

BLUETOOTH PAIRING:

It is paired with a phone, like other second-generation Shelly Plus and Pro devices, using the Bluetooth protocol, simply and quickly.

STRONGER PROCESSOR, MORE FUNCTIONS:

The Shelly Plus 1PM Mini GEN3 already belongs to the third generation of products, it has twice as much memory as its predecessor and has an ESP-Shelly-C38F chip. Thanks to this, its memory has increased from 4MB to 8MB.
