The Shelly Leak Sensor is an additional sensor cable that can be used to significantly increase the coverage of the Shelly Flood Gen4 water leak detector. It detects the entire length of the cable, so it does not only detect moisture at a single point. Ideal for protecting longer wall sections, kitchens, bathrooms, mechanical rooms, laundry rooms or even basements.

The cable is flexible, easy to lay and reusable: after an alarm, simply dry it and it can be used again. It is connected to the dedicated sensor port of Shelly Flood Gen4 in a Plug&Play manner and does not require a separate power supply. By connecting several sections, the total monitoring length can be extended up to 150 meters.

Examples of use: around dishwashers, washing machines, sinks, boilers, refrigerators and water pipes; continuous linear leak detection along long walls or in hard-to-reach places.
