Shelly Plus 2PM is the 2022 new version of the popular Shelly 2.5 WiFi relay, with ESP32 chip, easy and fast Bluetooth pairing. Similar to its predecessor, it is suitable - e.g. mounted behind a chandelier switch – for switching two independent circuits, or for remote control and automation of shutter motors that can be controlled from a wall switch in shutter control mode. Shelly PLUS 2PM is the latest version of the popular Shelly 2.5 WiFi smart relay, released in 2022. Like its predecessor, this is one of the smallest two-circuit WiFi smart relays with a built-in power consumption meter. This Shelly relay type is suitable for controlling two independent circuits (e.g. a two-button chandelier switch) as well as shutter control.

Like all other Shelly products, it is directly connected to the WiFi router, no local center, hub or bridge is needed for its smart control. Even if only 1 device can be installed independently to automate or measure the consumption of an electrical consumer, lighting or motorized shutter, it is also a good choice as a complete system for converting an entire property that is newly built or about to be renovated into a smart home.

This is one of the smallest Wi-Fi devices for smart connection control and smart consumption measurement. Its small size allows you to install it either behind a standard light switch or outlet in the switch socket or in an electrical connection box, or even afterwards, and remotely control your lighting and other consumers connected to the outlet, as well as monitor their on/off status.

With the help of Shelly PLUS 2PM placed in the wall socket behind existing switches or connectors, we can remotely control our lighting or other consumers by keeping our existing switches, monitor their on/off status and power consumption, so the product is also ideal for retrofitting. Shelly Plus 2PM is widely used installed behind two-button light switches (chandelier switches) for their smart control.

The Shelly Plus 2PM relay - like other small Shelly smart relays - contains one switch input for both circuits, i.e. when installed behind light switches, you can still use the wall light switch to switch on the lamp (or other consumer), and you can also switch on the controlled one remotely via WiFi lamp or other device, and we also have several timings at our disposal. In the Shelly app, it is also possible to disable the switch - which can be useful in some rooms with small children - with such settings, the given relay can only be controlled from the app.

The relay is compatible not only with two-position switches, but also with rocker (or bell) switches. It is also suitable for connecting alternative and crossover switching.

With its auto-off function, it can also be set to pulse switching mode.
