The Sennheiser MKE 440 is a compact stereo shotgun microphone designed for cameras with a hot shoe and external microphone input. Its two coordinated and paired mini shotgun microphones placed in a V-shape ensure the perfect stereo sound, maximally dampening the noise coming from the side.

The patented V-stereo configuration covers the stereo width that a standard 35mm lens can capture. The sound distribution is extremely even, and speech intelligibility is excellent. The stainless steel micro mesh reduces wind noise and protects against electromagnetic interference.

The solid, fully metal housing is extremely durable. The built-in battery-powered electronics provide a wide dynamic range, and the low-cut filter reduces body noise and low-frequency wind noise. With a single pair of AAA batteries, it offers more than 100 hours of operating time, with maximum audio performance even with low battery voltage.
