The Sennheiser EW-D CI1 SET is a versatile digital wireless instrument system designed for guitarists. It transmits digitally in the UHF band between 630 and 662 MHz, which extends the system's range, improves reliability and makes it easier to expand. The Smart Assist app, connected via Bluetooth Low Energy, simplifies setup and allows the system to be managed remotely. Automatic frequency scanning establishes stable connections with minimal effort.

The receiver handles audio signals within a 134 dB dynamic range, so no sensitivity adjustment is needed and fine detail is preserved. Cross-modulation-free operation allows channels to be placed on a grid with 600 kHz spacing, and with a 56 MHz tuning bandwidth up to 90 channels can be accommodated. Fine tuning is supported by 2,240 selectable frequencies.

The lithium-ion battery pack, sold separately, provides up to 12 hours of operation. With the two AA batteries included, runtime is up to 8 hours.
