The ew 500 FILM G4-BW Pro is a wireless microphone system built for film, broadcast and field recording. The kit includes the SKP 500 transmitter, which turns any wired microphone into a wireless one thanks to 48 V phantom power, and the MKE 2 Gold clip-on microphone for clear, intelligible speech.
The system operates with a bandwidth of up to 88 MHz across 32 channels, and infrared synchronisation links the transmitter and receiver. Its range reaches 100 metres, and the RF output power can be set to 10, 30 or 50 mW. The frequency range is BW (626–698 MHz).
The sturdy construction and up to 8 hours of uninterrupted operation make the set suitable for long shooting days and outdoor assignments where reliable audio capture is essential.
