Get to know our SuperConductor ceramic hob

The SCP 5010SS SuperConductor is an electric hob with a cooking zone. Thanks to the ceramic heating element technology used, the stove has many advantages over its competitors. Thanks to these, the hob can boast a really low height, the body of the device itself is only 25 mm. Even with the legs, it fits into the 3 cm height. The diameter of the hob is 19 cm, which is ideal for pots with a maximum diameter of 28 cm.

Its uniqueness lies in the details

The ceramic heating elements placed under the hob heat up very quickly, it only takes a minute to reach 500°C, the maximum reachable temperature of the hob is 690°C. The heat distribution is even, and the hob ensures a constant temperature even with continuous operation. This is an extremely useful feature, but it is important to mention that it is not a universal standard. The speed of the hotplate is similar to that of induction hotplates, but it eliminates the disadvantage of the induction principle, as it does not require the purchase of special cookware. You can safely use glass or even aluminum pans on the Sencor SCP 5010SS hob.

Style and practicality in one device

High technology has been combined with an ideal design, so it can be easily integrated into almost any style of kitchen. Every detail is thought out. For example, the hot surface warning displays a colored ring around the hob – as soon as the surface heats up above 65°C, warning of the risk of possible burns. The surface of the stainless steel hob is extremely easy to clean. Another common disadvantage of induction hobs is noise. Fortunately, with the Sencor SCP 5010SS cooktop, you don't have to worry about that either.

You can easily select your preferred cooking method with the push of a single button. Of course, the cooking time and power can be easily adjusted as needed at any time.

Stir-fry

It is a method of cooking in which ingredients are fried in a small amount of very hot oil with constant stirring, typically in a wok. This technique is most often associated with the preparation of Asian cuisine.

Deep-fry

It is an ideal program for preparing dishes where the ingredients have to be fried in a large amount of hot oil. The preparation is thus more uniform and faster. With this cooking method, you can more easily control the temperature of the oil and thus more easily prevent the oil from burning. For example, rapeseed oil, which has a higher smoke point and can withstand higher temperatures, is more suitable for preparing such food. In this mode, the stove operates at full power for 1 minute to quickly reach a temperature of 480-500 °C. It then reduces the power to 900 W for 7 minutes, then reduces the power again to 750 W and maintains it until the end of cooking to reach the optimal oil temperature for frying.

Fry

A food preparation method that requires frying the food in a large amount of fat and oil at a high temperature for a long time. The result will be a crispy texture. Suitable for e.g. for roasting meats and vegetables. In this mode, the stove operates at full power for 1 minute to quickly reach a temperature of 380 °C. It then reduces the power to 900 W for 7 minutes, then reduces the power again to 750 W and maintains it until the end of cooking to reach the optimum temperature for baking.

Simmer

Cooking food in a hot liquid (water) kept just below the boiling point of the water. For constant boiling, the liquid is brought to a boil, then the heat source is reduced to a lower, constant intensity. For the first 15 minutes, the stove works at full power to quickly reach the desired temperature, then reduces the power to half and maintains it until the end of cooking.

Boil

This function is suitable for heating water, for example for cooking pasta. The hob maintains maximum power for 30 minutes or until it switches off to boil the water in the shortest possible time. The temperature of the hob is constantly at maximum temperature.

Keep warm

Mode suitable for heating food. The aim is to heat the hob to 150 °C and keep the temperature constant. In the first minute, the operating mode sets the power value to 300 W, and then only maintains the temperature reached with a power of 150 W until it switches off.
