Product description
The Sencor SCP 4001BK is a two-zone hob with a glass-ceramic coating, which is cool to the touch. The diameters of the cooking surfaces are 120 and 260 mm, which are controlled by a microprocessor, so that the appropriate pots are automatically detected. The temperature can be easily controlled between 50-500°c. All necessary information is displayed on the clear LCD display. Thanks to its compact size, it is an ideal solution for small apartments, dormitories or vacation homes.
Induction technology
Thanks to its induction technology, you can save up to 50% energy compared to traditional hobs. The technology uses electromagnetic induction to generate heat directly in the vessel to be heated. It is thus faster, more energy-saving and safer than other heating techniques. As a result, the heat loss is absolutely minimal, and thus you can save up to 60% of your time.
Cookware suitable for induction cooking
Cookware used for induction cooking must be made of magnetizable conductive metal (cast iron, enamel, stainless steel). The bottom of the container must be flat and straight. The diameter of the bottom of the pot to be used on the induction hob must be at least 12 cm, but it must not exceed the zone of the cooking surface by more than 2 cm. Avoid using aluminum, copper, ceramic, porcelain or glass cookware.
Infrared hob
On the infrared hotplate on the right, you can set the temperature between 50 and 500 °c, or the power in 10 steps, between 200 and 1800 w.
Any pan can be used on the infrared hotplate, for optimal heat transfer and maximum performance, we recommend the use of pans with flat bottoms.
Safety first
The built-in safety mechanism and non-slip feet guarantee safe use of the device. For safety reasons, the induction hob switches off automatically after two hours of operation if no button is pressed on the control surface. If you use the timer function, the device will automatically turn off after the set time has elapsed.
Safe operation:
Automatic pot detection and automatic switch-off. After lifting the container, the device switches off. If an unsuitable container is placed on it, the device switches off. The usability of the pot can be checked with the magnet placed on the bottom.
Safety switch protecting the appliance and cooking surface against overheating, with sound signal. First a beep is heard, then the device turns off automatically.
Protection against mains voltage fluctuations
H/c signs: the h (hot) sign appears when the internal temperature of the device is higher than 55 °C. The c sign appears when the internal temperature of the device has dropped below 55 °c.
