Product description
This book tells the story of a gastronomic adventure in the forest, an adventure at the end of which we will be enriched with fifty-five interesting and tasty recipes. We first poured this forest adventure into a recipe, then into a pot, pot, and pan, and then we put them one by one, sizzled, fried, boiled, mixed, and served, in the hands of the Reader, and as a base or - if you like - as a side dish Széchenyi
We quote from Zsigmond's great writings. But our book is not only for hunters, so those who only consider themselves to be hunters should not even start, lest they have to put it down in frustration. Following in the footsteps of Széchenyi, we collected the raw materials offered by the Hungarian forests from game, waterfowl and wildfowl, mushrooms, medicinal herbs, fish from lakes and streams, to complement them with the treasures of the fields and kitchen gardens, and then we publish all of these cooked or baked to our liking. Hungary is a hunting superpower, and we still have some catching up to do in terms of game meat consumption. Due to the free movement and nutrition of the animals, game meat has a low fat content, is particularly nutritious and has a high biological and pleasure value. Game meat is rich in flavoring extracts
- this is why we feel the typical, characterful, mouth-watering flavor and smell of game meats - and this, according to taste, was emphasized or toned down when preparing the appropriate recipe. The ecological footprint of healthy food from its natural environment, the wild game, mushrooms, fruits, and spices that provide the raw material is much lower than that of food from traditional farming, its acquisition practically consists only of hunting, gathering and processing. Game meat is guaranteed free of antibiotics,
from trace elements or hormone derivatives of industrial formulas. The calorie content of game meat is half or a quarter of that of the most popular domestic meat, and is at the same level as lean fish meat. We believe that at the end of our book-bound forest adventure, we will make you want to cook game, roast game, go for a walk in the forest, and - to make the reward complete - we will also publish the recipes of our favorite desserts, cakes and sweets. The iconic sentence of Zsigmond Széchenyi's book As it started... is so apt that forest walkers, nature lovers and hunters have been quoting it ever since: "The Hunt": hunting and forest rustling, but more Forest rustling. This is how our forest gastro adventure turned out to be a lot of rustling and rustling. But by the nature of cooking and baking: more Sizzling.
