The fame of Quedlinburg's alchemists spread far beyond the city's borders. Their healing arts are as famous as they are infamous.

People come from far and wide to have their exotic diseases treated by a "specialist". Corns, bunya hump, and even vampirism (which is often misdiagnosed as polymorphic light eruptions) are just some of their ailments. They need the most highly trained: Quedlinburg alchemists take on the most complex cases of Kuruzsl medicine. They use elaborate equipment to distill essences to ease the suffering of their patients.

Distilling gives players valuable bonuses and special features that provide additional benefits as the game progresses.

This expansion includes 20 new divination cards and two new ingredient books for buckthorn.
