Sarah Harrison - Híres utazók large felfedezései

Christopher Columbus set foot on the land of an unknown continent in October 1492. the explorer of the "New World" set out for the spices and gold of the East, as did the Portuguese Vasco de Gama, who sailed to India five years later. Magellan, who was the first to circumnavigate the Earth, or Captain Cook, who circumnavigated the Pacific Ocean, testified to his determination and unparalleled endurance. Just like the brave travelers who ventured into the interior of the continents - Marco Polo crossing the deserts and high mountains of Asia, Lewis and Clark roaming North America, or Livingstone exploring Africa. During the description of the great voyages of discovery, the volume also offers a glimpse into the lives of former peoples, empires, and civilizations.
