SAMYANG AF 14-24mm F/2.8 Objective (Sony FE)

The Samyang AF 14-24mm F2.8 is the result of joint development of German optics specialist Schneider-Kreuznach and Samyang. Despite its compact size, it received only 88.8 mm long sophisticated optical design with 15 elements in 11 groups. This contains 3 aspherical, 5 large refractors and 3 extra low dispersion elements, each working to provide sharpness from wind to time with minimal chromatic aberration and distortion. Due to the effective correction of sagittal coma and other optical errors, this lens is particularly suitable for night landscapes and astrophothing. The permanent F/2.8 compartment value provides excellent performance between low light conditions in the entire zoom range.

Unlike many ultra-edged zoom, AF 14-24 mm F2.8 FE is the standard 77 mm filters, allowing users to provide creative flexibility to easy to connect polarizers and ND filters.

Thanks to its constant minimal sharpness distance of just 0.18 meters, the lens allows up to 0.26 times the enlargement in the entire zoom range, which is ideal for effective close recordings. Its robust construction has weatherproof insulation that provides reliable protection against water drops, light rain, snow and dust, making it a reliable companion in a challenging environment. The customizable button on the lens cylinder allows users to quickly access programmable features, such as pre -configured focus. In addition, the built-in USB port allows direct firmware updates to ensure that the lens remain up-to-date with the latest developments and features.
