The Samyang AF 14-24mm F2.8 is the result of joint development of German optics specialist Schneider-Kreuznach and Samyang. Despite its compact size, it received only 88.8 mm long sophisticated optical design with 15 elements in 11 groups. This contains 3 aspherical, 5 large refractors and 3 extra low dispersion elements, each working to provide sharpness from wind to time with minimal chromatic aberration and distortion. Due to the effective correction of sagittal coma and other optical errors, this lens is particularly suitable for night landscapes and astrophothing.
