Product description
With the help of the RØDE VXLR Pro adapter, any device with a 3.5mm TRS (small jack) connection can be connected to devices with an XLR input. The adapter has a 3.5mm TRS (small jack) socket (input) and an XLRM (XLR male) output.
The adapter converts the 12-48V phantom voltage down to the 3-5V range so that microphones that require plug-on voltage (such as VideoMicro, VideoMic GO, HS2, Lavalier GO, RØDELink Lavalier, etc.) can also be used XLR outputting a higher phantom voltage socketed devices.
The balancing transformer in the adapter ensures that the sound of the microphone remains undisturbed and at the appropriate signal level even over long signal paths of several tens of meters.
The jack socket on the adapter is externally threaded so that the output cable of microphones equipped with a locking female jack, such as the HS2 head microphone, RØDELink Lavalier or the receiver unit of RØDELink wireless devices, can be clamped to securely connect to the adapter.
With the help of the belt clip on the VXLR Pro, the adapter can be conveniently and securely attached to a belt, pocket or any thicker piece of clothing.
