The RØDE SC11 is a high-quality 'Y' connecting cable with 3.5mm TRS connectors. It is suitable for connecting two mono outputs, for example the outputs of two different mono microphones, to the same stereo input, for example the input of a DSLR camera. With its use, you can cost-effectively connect, for example, two Wireless GO wireless microphones, or one wireless and one video microphone to the input of a camera or recording device, without a mixer. The two microphone connectors of the SC11 are color-coded, the mono audio signal of the device connected with the black cable part is recorded on the left side of the stereo channel, while the one connected with red is recorded on the right side of the stereo channel.

A thickened part of the SC11 cable is used for stable fixing in the cable guide holes, the purpose of which is to prevent the cable from hanging and moving in a disturbing way during use. Cable routing holes can be found on some microphone suspensions or on some microphone mounting devices. Such microphone holders are the SM7-R or the DCS-1 double hot shoe adapter.
