With the help of the RØDE PG2R Rycote Lyre anti-vibration microphone grip, we can hold our more sensitive shotgun and small-diaphragm microphones in our hands. Thanks to the double Rycote Lyre suspension, handling and vibration noises can be completely filtered out of the recording. The two cradle-shaped suspensions on the handle can be adjusted to four different positions to properly attach both shorter and longer microphones.

There are two different cable routing options on the handle for convenient use: a microphone cable can be routed through the inside of the handle and fixed behind the microphone (can be used with different cable thicknesses), or RØDE's PG2R Pro Cable, specially developed for the PG2R, can be used. Thanks to the design of the latter, it fits completely into the grip and stands stably in place.

In addition to normal handheld use, the PG2R grip can also be used attached to a 3/8" microphone pole or microphone stand thanks to the thread located at the bottom of the grip.
