There is no absolute need for paired microphones and microphone rails and adapters for precise placement if we always want to make the same high-quality stereo recording. The RØDE NT4 solves the task by itself thanks to its capsules set in the factory XY stereo position.

With its perfectly matched condenser capsules, the microphone produces unparalleled stereo detail, its low-noise electronics give it a wide dynamic range, and in combination with the 1/2" capsules, it lends it a high sound pressure tolerance. Selectable power modes: from a 9V battery or an external 48V phantom power supply, with LED battery charge feedback. For the studio an excellent choice, but it also fits perfectly for outdoor location recordings.

There is a two-position switch on the body of the microphone, which can be used to turn the microphone on/off, i.e. to activate or mute the microphone. An LED above the switch indicates the charge of the 9V battery: the LED lights up for about 1 second when switched on > the battery is fully charged, the LED lights up for a long time after switching on > the battery will run down soon. If a battery is inserted but the microphone also receives external phantom power, the microphone will use the external power supply.

The NT4 box contains the following accessories: WS4 wind protection sponge, XLR - 3.5 Jack microphone cable and XLR - double XLR microphone cable, RM3 rigid microphone holder, ZP1 microphone pouch.
