Robert Dugoni - Az last agent

Charles Jenkins survived a secret operation in Russia that went awry, after which he was fed up with double-bottle spy games for life. But one day he learns that a woman is being kept in isolation from everyone in the notorious Lefortovo prison in Moscow, so he starts an investigation.

If it turns out that Paulina Ponomajova, who was his savior, is being held, then he cannot leave it to its fate. But there is no guarantee that it is him, just as there is no proof that Paulina is still alive. So Jenkins must return to Russia to investigate and contact former Russian FSB officer Viktor Fyodorov - his former enemy who has pursued him across three continents - to help him get into Lefortovo.

Moreover, his journey takes a more dangerous turn than ever before: a cruel, bloodthirsty Russian agent starts hunting them both. Jenkins is loyal to Paulina, who may still be alive, and risks everyone's lives in this new mission, which could be his last.
