Michael, Taylor, Ostin and the rest of the Electroclan have broken free from the walls of Elgen Academy in Pasadena and are on their way to Idaho to plan their next move. But what awaits them there changes everything at once.
Relying on their sharp wits and special abilities, they manage to get out of one of Elgen's traps with great difficulty. A mysterious voice then leads them into the dense jungle of Peru, looking for traces of Michael's mother. When they get there, they discover that Dr. Hatch and Elgen have far more power than anyone realizes; entire countries came under their control. Only the Electroclan and an anonymous voice stand in the way of his plans for world domination.
But is the voice that Michael follows for guidance really an ally, or are they facing just another trap?
