The Rice Up protein bar with raspberry flavour is a compact 40 g snack designed for eating on the go or as a between-meal bite. Its main ingredient is milk protein, coated with a chocolate glaze and a raspberry-flavoured milk cream layer. It also contains hydrolysed collagen peptides from beef.
The recipe uses maltitol as a sweetener, so the bar contains less sugar. Soluble fibre (polydextrose) and steviol glycosides from stevia, which act as a prebiotic, complete the composition. The flavourings are natural, and the raspberry colour comes partly from beetroot.
The bar may contain traces of soy and soy-based products. Anyone with a soy allergy should check the ingredient list before eating.
