The Phonocar 04197 RCA noise filter is designed to eliminate ground loop hum and alternator noise in car audio systems. As a passive component, it is simply inserted between the head unit and the amplifier in the existing RCA cabling, delivering cleaner sound free of buzzing and whining.
Its 30 to 50,000 Hz bandwidth covers the full audible spectrum, so music and speech are reproduced without restriction. The 200 mV to 6 V input level range makes it suitable for systems of varying power.
