PULSAR Axion XM30F thermal Imager
Product description
Adventure in the realm of darkness!
Designed to fit perfectly in the human hand and to fit in an average pocket, Pulsar's new thermal camera offers a comfortable grip and handling. The compact design makes it perfectly suited to always be with you during your hunts.
The new Axion XM30F thermal camera stands out with its compact size, user-friendly handling and ergonomic design, which together guarantee a very high level of comfort and usability.
The Axion XM30F thermal camera has adjustable magnification, so you can set the ideal field of view in any situation. Its basic magnification is 3x, further magnification can be set up to 12x with digital zoom.
The front lens with high light transmittance combined with the 12 µm pixel size of the sensor endows the Axion thermal camera with excellent detection capabilities. An average 1.8 meter high object (human figure) can be detected from a distance of up to 1300 meters even in total darkness. Thanks to the 12 µm technology, there is a greater optical magnification and a longer detection distance, and the same parameter helps to make the device more compact.
Another innovation is that we can choose from 8 different colors even for the "entry-level" model. The default setting of the device uses the color “Hot White”. You can also set other colors using the "Colour palettes" menu.
The light magnesium alloy of the device housing provides exemplary structural rigidity and tolerance, while this construction managed to preserve the low weight and excellent ergonomic design.
The Pulsar Axion XM30F thermal imaging scope is a real small compact scouting/tracking scope. The 144x40x69 size, 250g weight magnesium alloy frame is IPX7 standard, so heavy rain and snow are not an obstacle. Moreover, the device can be immersed in its factory state.
The thermal camera has a 12µm pixel size 320×240 sensor and a new VGA AMOLED display. Based on these, it will be a worthy companion in the night, even despite its small size.
The device comes with a Pulsar APS3 battery as a factory accessory, which can operate for more than 5 hours on a single charge. This means that even with continuous use, it should be able to withstand a longer night hunt. Of course, if the 5-hour operating time is not enough, you can order an additional battery.
What is new is that the thermal camera has a built-in video recorder. You can transfer pictures and videos quickly and conveniently via USB to a PC or laptop, or watch them on your phone via Wi-Fi.
