The Caravanserai is a closed area, local merchants are not allowed to enter from outside, even though they would be happy to buy the fabulous portéka delivered by the caravans! They do business with the resting caravans in secret, at their own expense, and then resell the acquired goods with some profit.

The players try to get and fulfill as many orders as possible by making clever use of their modest starting opportunities. Whoever collects 32 dirhems the fastest will trigger the final round of the game, but the winner will be the one with the most wealth in the end.

Everyone has two optional actions per turn, and each action must be preceded by movement.
