1,300 years after the events of Playmobil's "How to raise your dragon", dragons are nothing more than a legend in the modern world. When a geological anomaly creates a huge fissure in the Earth, miles below the earth's surface, scientists from all over the world come to study the phenomenon. Soon, a small group of young people brought to the facility by their parents discover the dragons' hiding place - but they must keep this secret to themselves.

The saddle on the dragon allows Tom to ride on Thunder. Thunder's spikes light up at the push of a button, and he can shoot plasma arrows from his mouth. If the back of the head is pressed, the arrow placed in the mouth will be fired.
