Knights and Cities contains new game elements, which complement the Settlers of Catan base game for new, varied experiences! The wealth of the cities tempts the barbarians. There is little time to field a powerful cavalry against them. Those who participate in the fight against the barbarians get points, but those who do not invest enough in building their army will have their city looted by the barbarians.

Only an add-on, not a stand-alone game. It is only compatible with the previously released Settlers of Catan edition that contains plastic figures.
