Product description
This Phonocar radio surround frame is designed for BMW 3 Series E46 models from 1998 to 2005, including the Coupé and Touring versions. It accommodates both 1 DIN and 2 DIN car radios, giving you a neat, flush installation in the centre console.
The frame includes a removable storage tray for keeping small items such as keys or coins within easy reach. Installing a 2 DIN unit requires an additional mounting kit (Phonocar part number 03509 or 03600). For DIN units with an installation depth greater than 9 cm, the air ducts inside the dashboard must be modified.
Weighing 200 g, the frame offers a straightforward way to fit a new head unit cleanly and securely in your vehicle.
