Product description
The Phonocar 08540 is an antenna adapter that connects a car antenna with a FAKRA connector to a radio or head unit with an ISO connector. It is useful when replacing an existing car radio and the plugs do not match. The built-in phantom power supplies the active part of the antenna with the voltage it needs from the new unit, which helps maintain stable reception.
The 45 cm cable leaves enough room for installation, for example behind the dashboard or in the radio compartment. The adapter plugs in without soldering and is compatible with a range of popular car brands, including Audi, VW, Ford, Opel, Peugeot, Renault, Skoda and Fiat. A wiring diagram is included with the packaging.
