      The Philips Lumea IPL Prestige Series 8000 BRI949/00 is a home hair removal device that uses intense pulsed light (IPL) technology to provide long-lasting hair reduction. It offers five intensity levels and is equipped with a skin contact sensor and a skin type sensor for safe and effective treatment.

      Thanks to SenseIQ technology and the SmartSkin sensor, the device automatically detects your skin tone and adjusts the light pulse intensity accordingly. It features a UV filter and an integrated safety system for maximum protection. The package includes the intelligent head, suitable for body, face, underarms and bikini area, plus the Satin Compact precision trimmer (HP6388) for fine adjustments.

      The device can be used on arms, legs, face, neck, back, chest, bikini area and underarms. Treatment times are short: about 2 minutes for the bikini area, 8.5 minutes for lower legs, 2.5 minutes for underarms and 1.5 minutes for the face. Finished in white, it weighs 1310 g.
