During photography/filming, filters can be used to change the characteristics of the light entering our camera. This can be a reduction in the amount of light, it can be an influence on its direction (polarization), but it can also be a modification of the color. In addition, we can enhance the atmosphere of our photos with various effect filters. So the main goal is to modify the image.

CPL or PL filter: The light coming from the Sun is unpolarized, i.e. circularly vibrating, however, when reflected from most surfaces, the reflected light has only one-way vibration, i.e. polarized. The polar filter is used to filter out such light. The polar filter eliminates glare from reflective surfaces (windows, water surface, leaves of plants), and on the other hand, it gives more saturated colors. In practice, it is most often used to strengthen the blue of the sky, the effect is strongest perpendicular to the direction of the Sun, i.e. e.g. it is almost ineffective in the sun, while it is very important in the early morning or late afternoon.
