The Petzl ACTIK CORE is a headlamp built for hiking, camping and outdoor activities. It delivers up to 625 lumens with a beam range of 115 metres and offers IPX4 protection against moisture.

Five lighting modes are available: a maximum-runtime mode at 7 lumens for up to 100 hours, a normal mode at 100 lumens for about 7 hours, a maximum-brightness mode at 625 lumens for 2 hours, a constant red light at 2 lumens for 60 hours, and a flashing red light visible up to 700 metres away for 400 hours. It runs on AAA batteries (alkaline, lithium or NiMH) or on the included CORE rechargeable battery, which charges in 3.5 hours.

The beam is focusable, so you can switch between a wide close-range spread and a focused long-range beam. The removable, washable headband keeps the lamp comfortable to wear, and a lock function prevents accidental switch-on. Weighing just 88 grams, it stays light on the head.
